Where does the event take place?
King's Meadow in Reading, off of Napier Road. It is a short walk from Reading Station.
I heard they are developing on King's Meadow, does this affect Reading Pride?
This year the main enterance is located on the opposite side of the field. Please walk down the Thames tow path via King's Meadow Road.
When is the event?
This year's event will take place on 01 September 2018.
How much does it cost to enter?
Reading Pride is a FREE event but we encourage a donation of £2 to help keep it free.
If you enjoyed your time at the event, then please donate what you can.
How do I take part in the parade?
The Parade starts at Queens Walk (between Broad Street Mall and Penta Hotel).

How do I book a marketplace pitch?
You can now book your stall online, with a range of competitive prices for both community organisations and businesses.
What should I wear?
There is no dress code but as it is difficult to predict the weather we suggest comfortable clothing. If you wish to dress according to our theme then this is encouraged.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Yes, you can bring personal supplies of food and soft drinks in sealed containers.
Alcoholic drinks cannot be brought onto the site. We perform checks on entry and reserve the right to confiscate anything we consider to contain alcohol or drugs.
Can I bring my children?
Yes, we are a family friendly event and encourage everyone to come along. We do ask that young children are supervised at all times.
Are there any age restricted areas?
The sale of alcohol is strictly over 18s and we operate a Challenge 25 policy.
In the past we have considered age restricted areas so if this is something you are interested in running, then please get in contact with us.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome on site.
However, the event can be noisy and there is limited shelter, so discretion is advised.
