In earnest of tomorrows celebrations, pride volunteers have been erecting marquees and fencing and wiring the site for sound ready for the 6th Reading Pride Festival tomorrow. Today marks the 3rd day that volunteers have been on site.

Despite, an air of celebration and victory surrounding the site following the retreat of protestors from the National front, Reading pride is keen to stress that the war on equality is still very much under way and urges all members of Reading's rich and diverse communities to stand united at tomorrows Parade which leaves at 11am from the Civic Offices and makes it way through Reading's busy shopping areas to Kings Meadow Park.

Reading would like to wish Reading a very happy, and safe, Pride Festival
