Accessibility
Reading Pride aims to make our event accessible for everyone who attends.

Reading Pride has made reasonable adjustments to the area to provide access to the event site. We will be providing accessible facilities to which stewards, volunteers and security staff will be able to show you where these are, and escort you through crowds if required. Assistant dogs are welcome. All stewards, security and volunteers will be briefed on procedures for assisting those who are in need of accessibility.

British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreters
On our Main Stage we have a British Sign Language interpreter throughout the day with access to a raised platform to ensure you can see them.
Raised Platform by Main Stage
This year we have a raised platform by the Main Stage to help ensure disabled users can see the stage and/or the BSL interpreters.

In the PrideXtra and Pride aLive stages, priority access to the front will be given to wheelchair users. Please ask the nearest steward or volunteer for help if the area is busy.

Mobiloo & Disabled Toilets
Mobiloo returns after incredibly positive feedback to ensure that even those who are unable to use the disabled portaloos are able to do the basics with dignity.

This includes a full size changing table, a toilet with grab rails which can be accessed with the ceiling track hoist.

Wellbeing Area
This is a safe area for those who need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main event. Particularly those who are sensitive to large crowds or noise.
On-Site Disabled Parking
Blue badge holders can park in the marketplace traders car park, please follow directions for the traders entrance and show your badge to the steward on the gate.

It is then a short walk to the main gate.

How to deal with problems
Inclusivity is really important to us but sometimes things do go wrong or instructions are not followed.

Should you be unfortunate enough to experience this please report it to the nearest team member in a pink or purple hi-viz jacket or go to the information point, this will ensure we can correct the issue so that it doesn’t impact anyone else.
