    Thanks to the Yellow Brick Road project, attendees can travel safely between these venues with 24-hour on-road security, ensuring peace of mind while exploring the full spectrum of Reading’s inclusive nightlife and cultural spots. Whether you’re looking for a lively evening out or a quiet spot to meet friends, the local venues make Pride weekend an unforgettable experience.

    Siren RG1@ Station hill

    Siren RG1 is the flagship venue of Siren Craft Brew, a renowned independent brewery based just down the road in Finchampstead. Situated just a 2 minute walk from Reading train station, it boasts 28+ taps of beautiful, brewery-fresh beer from Siren and friends, along with fully-stocked fridges for take-outs, gifts and train beers.

    It caters exceptionally well for non-beer drinkers too, with a carefully considered wine list and creative cocktails, along with extensive options for soft drinks, low/no alcohol and hot drinks. Food-wise, the menu is packed full of exciting small plates, sharers, burgers and salads, all designed to complement social gatherings.

    In the short time since opening, Siren RG1 has become a community hub for residents, day-trippers and businesses alike. This year, the bar will be stocking an exclusive beer for Reading Pride, created to help raise funds for MyUmbrella LGBT+.

    Milk Bar

    Milk was established in 2012 and is now the only remaining independent cocktail bars left in Reading. With an amazing range of cocktails from the classics to Milk specials, made using only the best ingredients Milk have you covered whatever your taste.  

    Over Pride weekend Milk will also be running delicious Tequila specials! Why? Why not, It makes us happy, it makes you happy!

    Oakford Social Club

    Join us- open from 11am to feed you and nourish you for your day ahead (and to watch the parade in the front garden!)
    And then we’ve got @issumtingwong , @victoriascone , and @graceanatomyuk to entertain you all night!
