Pride aLive performers 2023

Colours and Fire Stage

In 2025, we decided to rename the Pride aLive stage the Colours and Fires stage – in honour of our dear friend Sophie Sheehan. As many from the community will be aware, she recently passed away and left a legacy of campaigning for trans rights and the rights of all the LGBTQIA+ community. She will be sorely missed but her legacy will never be forgotten as we continue to fight for those rights in her name 🏳️‍⚧️

For the 10th year running, Reading Pride is very proud to welcome back our incredible acoustic stage. Featuring fantastic local artists and bands who are either friends, allies and supporters of, or who themselves identify as LGBT+. Throughout the day they will be performing a mix of their own original songs and popular tunes.

We have a strong and vibrant music scene here in Reading with many bands and acts on the cusp of breaking into the professional industry. This stage showcases that talent and the generous support there is locally for LGBT+ and across all diversity. Thank you SSE for your continued support. You’ve made our community very proud. We are the People.

We’ll announce our acts for 2026 later in the year, in the meantime see who has performed on our stage in previous years.
