Traders Parking

This parking permit needs to be printed out ready for the day if you wish to park on site.

We request that you complete the fields for the number plate and contact the mobile telephone number. This will ensure that we can contact the owner on the day e.g. if lights have been left on, or the vehicle needs to be moved.

On arrival at the gate, you will be greeted by a Reading Pride representative. On presentation of this confirmation email, you will be directed to your pitch location.

Once on site please keep your speed to under 10mph to minimise any damage to the parkland. Follow the Exit signs along the back edge of the fencing to the Trader Car Park.

Once on site you can either leave your vehicle behind your pitch or park it in the off-site Trader car park. If you park your vehicle off-site, please follow steward directions and do not park too close to the fencing or obstruct the rear gate. Note that only one vehicle can be left behind your pitch and these cannot be moved until the site closes after 730. All other vehicles must be parked in the Trader/Disabled Car Park.

All vehicles that do not need to be on site must be moved outside the fenced area and parked in the Trader/Disabled Car Park by 11.30am prior to our final site safety inspection and must display a completed parking permit. When the park is open to the public the movement of vehicles on site is not permitted. Any vehicle movements during the festival can only be performed with a festival steward escort. You can take down the stall when you wish but vehicles will not be allowed on or off site until 730.

    Pre Booked Entry for Parade

The Parade is scheduled to arrive at the Festival area at midday, when the Festival formally opens. If you have volunteers in the Parade that then need to join you on the stall (we do recommend that there is a presence retained at the stall as the arrival time at site cannot be guaranteed) you may apply for Pre Booked Entry via the below link. Each volunteer will need to do so separately and will be issued with a QR code. You can then follow the signs for the below entry lane. We recommend that you also donate (should you wish to) the £3 for a wristband via the event.

Reading Pride Volunteer Food Voucher scheme

10 individually numbered food vouchers have been created to allow Reading Pride volunteers to have lunch / drink or sustenance during the day and is part of all food vendor Terms and Conditions. The event simply couldn’t happen without volunteers organising Reading Pride and being there on the day. Please accept the voucher as payment for a reasonable food and/or drink request by the volunteer. An example of the food voucher is below.

Thank you for supporting our volunteers who help make Pride happen.
